My widely read with over 14,000 downloaded thesis entitled "Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome, A Literature Review on African American Community Healing and Expressive Arts Therapy" has become my life's work.

I decided to become an EMDR trained clinician to better serve my clients who were struggling with PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias. I was intentional about receiving training from an EMDR Consultant of color as there are conditions specific to people of color that this practice would need modified to manage. I've witnessed a client who's severe phobia of planes gave her a panic attack to think about come out of three sessions boarding a plane to the amazement of her family.
