While I work with a wide range of folks, I tend to be the person folks come to when other therapies haven't worked. Relational Somatic Psychotherapy is a deep and powerful therapeutic approach. It works at a very deep and primal level. We combine neuro-biologically informed treatment with mindfulness, movement, traditional talk therapy, drama therapy and more, all in the container of our relationship.

You worry you aren’t doing things right and you’re burdened with challenges that keep you stuck. As this overwhelm grows bigger it's hard to be your authentic self, act upon your gifts, and form meaningful relationships. You shy away from taking risks and you're nervous to be real with others. Let's discover together how to reconnect with your values and reclaim the life you want to live.
Life feels chaotic. My mind races, to-do lists pile up unfinished, and I constantly worry. I start tasks with a burst of energy, only to get sidetracked and overwhelmed. Maybe it's ADHD, maybe it's anxiety, the flashbacks that come out of nowhere, or maybe something deeper. I'm tired of feeling overwhelmed and misunderstood. Especially as a woman, I often feel unseen. Deep down, I know I'm capable, but anxiety and intrusive thoughts often leave me feeling overwhelmed and stuck.
I have a particular interest in working with clients experiencing life transitions in their career and interpersonal relationships. My own background includes working with highly creative individuals, and I encourage clients to bring their creative work into the therapeutic process.
I have experience helping adults, adolescents and couples who are coping with anxiety, depression, illness, loss, life transitions including gender and sexual identity, substance abuse, relationship concerns including non-monogamy, negative body image, menopause, and the particular challenges faced by those working in the creative fields.
I work with successful and creative individuals, as well as those who have high-stress jobs. Although everything may seem fine on paper, it's often a different story on the inside. You might be feeling burnt out and going through the motions, or you could be feeling overwhelmed by your emotions. Many people find themselves stuck in survival mode, caused by several factors such as unconscious unmet needs or stuck trauma patterns. The good news is there is a gentle and safe way through!

Is your relationship feeling hopeless, or stuck in conflict? You might find yourselves trapped in repeating patterns. Maybe you don’t spend enough time together. You could be avoiding each other because of past hurts you'd rather not bring up, or personal differences you've been struggling to address. You're likely not feeling as supported you could be. Overall, you know communication should be improved somehow. If any of this resonates with you, I'm here to help.
Are you struggling with feeling inferior; feeling superior; needing to be perfect; feeling you're a burden; or people pleasing? When we grow up in difficult circumstances, we come up with these beliefs/ways of being as a way to help us feel a little more safe. As difficult as it is to hold these beliefs about ourselves, they somehow help us feel better. As we grow up, they create difficulties in our adult relationships.
Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by stress in your personal life, career, or relationships? Are you struggling to find meaning in your work and experiencing burnout? Do you also grapple with anxiety or depression? I specialize in guiding individuals through these challenges, helping them find clarity, resilience, and fulfillment in their lives. As a therapist, I have a particular focus on supporting sensitive and empathetic individuals, especially those in creative professions.
I specialize in men's issues, relationship struggles, anxiety, low self-worth, and help all my clients to prioritize their self-care as they navigate burnout and boundary setting. I'm sensitive to themes of people pleasing, perfectionism, internet/gaming addiction, life/career transitions, and work/life balance. I collaborate with clients of all backgrounds and lifestyles in both English and Spanish. I take pride in supporting couples (poly/kink friendly) and individuals (LGBTQI+ affirmative).

I work to help families and couples feel closer and more connected and to overcome problems such as emotional distance, intimacy issues, and conflict. I enjoy working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and offer affirming and inclusive therapy for LGBTQ adults, couples and families.
Many of my clients are over-functioning in their lives and have the underlying belief that their worth is tied to their usefulness and achievement. They often struggle with extreme guilt and approval-seeking so I focus on nurturing who they are as a person, outside the roles they perform. I work from a humanistic perspective and help my clients feel more confident in their desires and boundaries to gain a secure sense of self and build more fulfilling relationships.
Do you feel like you're trudging through life, weighed down by a constant sense of sadness & worry? Perhaps the joy you once knew has faded, replaced by a persistent feeling of being stuck. You're not alone. Millions of adults struggle with depression, anxiety, ADHD, & an overwhelming sense of being trapped in a cycle of negativity. I understand the profound impact these conditions can have on your daily life. The relentless drain of energy and the crippling anxieties can be really difficult.

There are many reasons eating disorders are invited into your life. Just as there are many reasons why a person develops an eating disorder, the way you recover will be just as unique. If there was a one-size-fits- all solution, that would perhaps be as deceptive as the problem itself. Whether it’s perfectionism, judgment, loneliness, self-improvement, health, fear, family issues… Together we will discover what invites these problems into your life, and begin to find what recovery means for you.
What does "balance" & "wellness" look like, feel like & mean to you? Our own version of "balance" fluctuates over time & I aim to normalize that! At times we may need guidance in redefining "balance"/"wellness" as we work on relationships, experience life transitions, process intergenerational trauma, work on radically accepting recurring patterns, navigate anxiety, embrace adolescence/adulthood, etc. My ultimate goal is to nonjudgmentally support your needs throughout this process!
