Many of my clients express a deep longing to be known, but a simultaneous fear of being seen for who they are. Maybe you wonder how you got here: monitoring every bite of food that goes into your mouth or constantly checking your body in the mirror. You may have a lot of external markers of success and most people would have no idea how lonely and overwhelmed you feel inside and how hard it feels to get through the day.

In my work with individuals, I support those looking to address anxiety, stress management, trauma, gender, sexuality, and sex. As someone who lives with a chronic illness, I also personally understand the complexities of navigating the healthcare system. In my work with couples, I work with folks looking for support with relationship issues within monogamous and consensually non-monogamous relationships. I’m also passionate about meeting the unique needs of neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ couples.
I work with all ages, but specialize in working with adolescents and young adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger management, low self-esteem and self-compassion, life transitions, relationships, and trauma. I work from a holistic, strengths-based approach and incorporate culturally competent perspectives and trauma-informed care.
My clients tend to be individuals and couples between 20 and 50 who have noticed an acute or recurrent struggle with effectively managing self and relationships. Some client's concerns are isolated to a specific or current relationships and others have a more systemic struggle that has historically complicated all relationships. My clients have told me they appreciate my compassionate yet direct approach that balances science with emotions and skills with acceptance.
I push partners to connect more deeply with one another, and to understand more about what they need and desire from each other. Clients tell me that my ability to hold space for each of their perspectives and “translate” their experiences to one another helps them overcome the barriers they feel in communication. I am most successful with clients who want to increase their understanding of their situation, who are willing to change and grow, and who are open to being accountable.
Most of my clients have known something is off for a long time. Perhaps it's a persistent challenge to finish projects, a tendency to double-book yourself, or an inability to read a room. Maybe it's the sense that you're working a lot harder than the people around you to make the same progress. What recent research tells us is that ADHD and Autism are up to 300% more common than previously believed. That means a lot of people have been missed, esp. women, AFAB, trans, NB, and POC folx.

I am familiar with issues that impact College Students, Cancer Patients, Caregivers, and people with Eating Disorders. I enjoy working with adults 18-45 who are struggling Grief, Anxiety, and Trauma. Most of my clients will at some point hear me talk about defining one’s values, how to be more self-compassionate, and the benefits of mindfulness. We will hopefully laugh a lot as well!
I offer medication management to folx facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and difficulties navigating the many challenges of life. Specialized in women's & perinatal mental health, I treat people of all gender identities facing infertility, pregnancy loss, high-risk pregnancy, anxiety/depression during and after pregnancy, PTSD, chronic pain, low sexual desire and sexual pain/ dysfunction, disordered eating, or midlife changes, I want you to be your best self!
My clients are individuals living with anxiety, depression, and PTSD related to chronic illness and/or lived experience of violence (individual, community, intergenerational, historical) and are seeking a safe and compassionate space for tending to and processing the past, connecting to the present, growing skills, and healing. I specialize in working with those living with complex medical diagnoses (or multiple symptoms with no diagnosis), challenging prognoses, and "watchful waiting."

Have you been disappointed by treatments that don't work and providers that don't get it? Are you tired of having to keep parts of yourself in the closet or check them outside the therapist's door? Utilizing a biopsychosocial-spiritual approach to therapy, Jordan invites clients to show-up and be seen as their full selves, worthy and capable of care. You are welcome here.

As a Couple and Family Therapist, I specialize in virtual services for couples, families, polycules, and individuals. Research suggests therapy is most effective when there is a good fit between therapist and client. While expertise in what you’re dealing with is one area that predicts a good fit, personality, approach, shared experiences, values, and world view can also be important.
