About My Clients
Your self-esteem is at an all time low and your confidence is nowhere to be found. You hear the term "people pleasing" and feel called out. At times you feel like you're doing alright, then just as quickly things seem to get hard again. You find yourself wondering if therapy could help. You want to feel confident and capable of success. At the end of the day you want to let yourself relax rather than constantly criticizing your choices or feeling guilty about everything you've done.
My Background and Approach
I help teens and young women with self-esteem concerns. I create a space for clients to find their confidence, improve self-esteem, make difficult decisions, and learn assertiveness skills.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
While I encourage self agency and advocate for all my clients, I take particular interest in women's rights. I draw from a feminist therapy model to help clients understand the various challenges they find themselves in. I use positive psychology to identify and use strengths. Women often leave therapy feeling empowered and confident in themselves. I find women, even if not feminist women, can all benefit from increase assertiveness and confidence.
