About My Clients
At Resilience Lab I work with individuals who carry this struggle as they face issues like depression, anxiety, and trauma. I also love working with young millennials or any young adults experiencing “quarter-life crises”. Having immigrated to the US, I'm also able to work with immigrants who are dealing with culture shock. Sometimes, you don't want to have to explain everything to your therapist. If you want a therapist who gets it- the culture, the norms, the transition- let’s work together.
My Background and Approach
There's a space between being perfectly mentally healthy and seriously mentally unwell. I operate within that space- you don't need a crisis to see me, just need a desire to make life better and a willingness to put in some work to get there. During our sessions, you'll learn about yourself, build resilience, and solve problems that are holding you back.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m Asian and I’ve been living in the US for almost 10 years. Due to my multicultural background, I know what it’s like to have blended cultures within. I have first-hand experience moving to a completely foreign place without any friends or family, and I understand what it is like to be shocked at the cultural differences you encounter. Having overcome those challenges, I now want to help others. Clients with similar experiences can trust that I know what they're going through. They don't have to explain to me; I can empathize with them.
