About My Clients
Do you spend half of Sunday dreading Monday? Unhappy with your job, feel like an impostor, or have work relationships seemed a barrier? Maybe you want to transition your life but aren't sure what direction to take or are afraid to take the leap. I understand the anxiety, stress, and depression you may be feeling, and how hopeless and stuck you might feel. I look forward to supporting you in finding a satisfying future that you can look forward to.
My Background and Approach
Having spent over 20 years in the corporate work force, I apply an understanding of workplace dynamics and relationships to my approach of Solution-focused, Cognitive Behavioral therapy. We'll look at ways your environment and culture may have influenced your decisions and understand goals that are authentic for you. We'll highlight your strengths and abilities to connect you to what feels right for you, and take steps toward progress at a pace that feels right. If anxiety or depression arise, I'll provide you with tools and support to help manage them and the empathy to make you feel heard and understood.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm politically liberal, support the LGBTQIA community, BLM, and women's rights. I have volunteered my time at the Dougy Center for grieving children, the Trauma Intervention Program, William Temple House, Girls, Inc., and the Oregon Humane Society. When I'm not hanging out with my pets, I'm most often found poking around my garden or walking, biking, or hiking to be outside.
