About My Clients

On your best days, you know that you’re an icon; but on your tough days you feel shame, loneliness, depression and self-criticism. And anxiety is basically part of your personality at this point. I’m here to remind you that YOU are not the problem. For real! The systems and social environments you have been in are the problem. I’m here to uproot those damaging beliefs that were put on you and in you and that continually get in the way of you remembering the iconic baddie you are. Let’s get unde

My Background and Approach

I aim to provide clients with a safe and non-judgmental space and I love helping clients embrace their vulnerability and softness in order to reclaim their voice. I believe that by processing the parts of ourselves that have once been associated with shame, guilt, or other difficult emotions, we can gain compassion and love for our authentic selves and see growth in our lives. I work with adolescents and adult individuals as well as partnerships - monogamous, and non-monogamous. I practice relational-cultural therapy using narrative, trauma-informed, somatic, and decolonized/anti-racist approaches. I have extensive experience with: CPTSD, Trichotillomania, Body focused repetitive behaviors, dismantling oppressive systems, Transgender communities, Non-binary folx, LGBTQ+ cpmmunities, Latinx/e community, Burnout, BIPOC empowerment, DV/IPV advocate, ENM, Gender identity/exploration, mindfulness, grief and loss, breakups (romantic/platonic), ntergenerational trauma, Religious trauma

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a queer LatinX therapist I am dedicated to decolonizing mental health and empowering clients of all intersectional identities with a social justice lens. I am a first generation Mexican and Salvadorian American queer woman, which has heavily shaped and influenced my life. I am familiar with households where mental health concerns, family trauma, sexuality, gender identity, and oppression are topics that go unacknowledged. I am bilingual/spanish speaking, which allows me to provide more accessible, culturally inclusive, and accepting mental health services. As a survivor of childhood abuse and intimate partner violence my goal is to establish and nourish safe and loving relationships that allow us to be unapologetically ourselves. I am also an animal adorer! I have 3 guinea pigs, 2 cats, and 1 dog who are all rescues. My main hobbies are impulsive dying or cutting my hair, taking my dog Maggie out on walks, snackin on munchies, drinking boba tea, and taking naps.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
