My Background and Approach

As a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of specialized experience in perinatal mental health, I bring a wealth of expertise to support you through your unique journey. My background includes working for 10 years in one of the nation's leading pediatric hospitals, where I gained invaluable experience in a level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU). This experience has given me a deep understanding of the challenges faced by parents of critically ill, premature or medically complex infants. Additionally, my time working in birthing hospitals has provided me with firsthand insight into the immediate postpartum period and the transitions new parents face. In recent years, I've expanded my practice to include telemedicine platforms such as Octave and Maven, allowing me to reach and support a wider range of clients with flexible, accessible care. My diverse experience enables me to offer comprehensive support for a variety of perinatal mental health needs.
