About My Clients

My clients are usually involved in court cases, e.g. sex offense or child abuse allegations (true or false allegations), child custody evaluations (social studies), family law cases, immigration cases, including need for domestic violence or extreme hardship evaluations or Adam Walsh evaluations. I also do a limited amount of treatment of sex offenders and others with mental health needs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Our character is not defined by bad decisions made in our worst moments.

My Background and Approach

I have had the honor of working and training in some of the finest health and mental health programs in the U.S., including the National Institute of Mental Health, U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons, and the U.S. Public Health Service. My current specialties include evaluating individuals accused (true allegations and false allegations) of sexual abuse, child molestation, rape, indecency and assault. I also provide domestic violence evaluations in immigration cases and extreme hardship and Adam Walsh evaluations. I am especially passionate about turning around false allegations that arise in criminal cases and high conflict divorce and child custody cases. Another specialty is consulting on child custody cases to prepare litigants for child custody evaluations or social studies. Litigants who are properly prepared get much better outcomes in family court. I have three licenses in Texas, LCSW, LMFT and LSOTP (Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider).

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I was falsely accused many years ago, and this started me on a mission to help others fight false allegations in the criminal justice system and in family court cases. I believe that false allegations are immoral and have devastating consequences in this world and beyond. In true abuse cases, I look hard for mitigating factors, and I am good at explaining my clients's behavior and risk factors to prosecutors, judges, juries, CPS, probation and parole officers, in accurate and respectful ways. I work with other professionals, e.g. forensic psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, polygraph examiners, and of course with attorneys.

I have experience with the following
