I evaluate individuals accused (true or false allegations) of sexual abuse or assault, including child sexual abuse. I prepare comprehensive, detailed reports for defense attorneys, court officials, probation and parole officers, etc. I am especially passionate about turning around false sexual abuse allegations. When the allegations are correct, I look for mitigating circumstances, and I conduct risk assessments to help determine if the accused is a good candidate for probation or parole. I also provide treatment for actual sex offenders. I prepare very detailed, comprehensive evaluations in these cases and I am prepared to testify in court to back up my findings and recommendations.

Parents who are experiencing divorce and child custody evaluations (social studies) are often under extreme stress. This makes it difficult to present their case in the most rational and emotion-free way. I have conducted these evaluations and I know what is expected and how to prepare properly in order help my client hit the "hot buttons" and avoid the traps, and deal with evaluator bias. I am able to perform child custody evaluations, but I prefer to coach and prepare parents in divorce and child custody cases to present their case to the evaluator in the most powerful and effective way. I can say with 100% certainty that proper preparation for a social study or custody evaluation will result in a better outcome for my client and for his/her children.

In treating sex offenders, CBT is the treatment of choice to help the offender identify cognitive distortions, including criminal thinking patterns, identifying risk factors, developing a relapse prevention plan and reducing risk of offense or re-offense. CBT can be very effective, especially when combined with other approaches such as transactional analysis, psychodynamic, family and reality therapy.

Research shows that both men and women can be victims of domestic violence or family violence, and both can be perpetrators as well. I have developed and published a domestic violence documentation format which also serves as an interview guide to thoroughly identify all forms of domestic or family violence.
