About My Clients
If you are feeling lost, having difficulty understanding why you are feeling the way you do, or struggling to believe your own experiences are valid or “enough”, you’re not alone. Sometimes, we feel a deep sense that something is wrong and we need to attend to it, but we aren’t sure where to start, or what it is. You deserve a space to explore your experiences, yourself, and your relationships in a way that feels safer and meets you where you are.
My Background and Approach
I offer a warm and compassionate presence, curiosity, and attunement, and look to co-create the therapy experience you are looking for. This means that we get to collaborate on what therapy tools work for you, and toss out the others. I actively engage with you while ensuring that you are driving the process and have the agency to decide where you want to go and what you want to share. I’m transparent and regularly open the door for client feedback. The therapy process looks different for everyone, and I strive to meet you where you are, work at the pace that feels right to you, and grow a relationship where you feel seen, heard, and welcomed.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My name is Zee, and I’m a white, trans, and neurodivergent therapist. I’m grounded in liberatory, intersectional, and anti-oppressive practice, meaning that I care deeply about how systems of oppression are likely impacting you, and I address the ways in which societal frameworks around race, gender, ability, class, and sexuality can cause us trauma, hurt, and damaging narratives about ourselves. As a trans person, I also believe strongly that our marginalized identities can be a great source of joy and connection to ourselves and others.
