About My Clients
I work with teens, adults, new moms, and parents who are navigating life’s ups and downs. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or career changes, I’m here to support your journey toward healing. I also specialize in helping new parents, and single parents during the perinatal and postnatal periods, and those dealing with the unique challenges that come with raising teenagers. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to do it alone—I’m here to help you heal and grow.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, I bring both academic rigor and personal passion to my practice. I am currently training in Animal Assisted Therapy through the Animal Assisted Psychotherapy Programs of Colorado, allowing me to incorporate therapy animals into sessions for clients who benefit from their calming presence. I am also undergoing specialized training in perinatal and postnatal mental health with Postpartum Support International (PSI) to better support new and expectant parents through the emotional challenges of parenthood. My diverse experience includes working with teens, supporting parents navigating the complexities of raising children, and assisting individuals facing anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My approach is real, compassionate, and grounded in authenticity, ensuring each client feels seen, heard, and supported on their journey to healing and growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My own struggles, traumas, and adversities have shaped who I am and fueled my deep passion for helping others on their healing journeys. I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can be truly seen, heard, and supported, and I am committed to providing that for my clients. I’m not just a therapist; I’m also someone who has faced life’s challenges head-on, which allows me to approach therapy with empathy, understanding, and authenticity. I am a huge animal lover and believe deeply in the healing power of animals, which is why I integrate Animal Assisted Therapy into my practice. Animals have played a significant role in my own healing, and I’ve seen firsthand how they can bring comfort, joy, and a sense of calm to those who need it most. I am also passionate about rescuing animals and giving them a second chance at life, much like I aim to do with my clients in their therapeutic journeys.
