About My Clients
I am passionate about helping clients find freedom from unwanted sexual behaviors. I help clients understand the roots of their behavior and chart a path towards freedom. If you are stuck in the endless cycle of acting out and shame there is hope! The opposite of addiction is connection. My goal is to form a safe and supportive connection with you, in order to heal the pain behind your behaviors. I also work with those struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
My work with clients involves using the tools I've gained as a Certified Schema Therapist and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate. I also draw from trauma-informed models such as EMDR and Brainspotting. These forms of treatment are powerful and proven to help clients gain freedom and healing. In therapy, I help clients discern the patterns of thought, feelings, and behaviors that are holding them back from getting their core needs met. Many of my clients have a pattern of unwanted sexual behavior; others struggle with anxiety, depression, or memories of trauma. Whatever your issues is, change is possible. I'm honored to see the vulnerability, growth, and healing of my clients each day. The same things can happen for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My interest in helping clients with unwanted sexual behaviors comes from my own story. I dealt with these behaviors for years and, eventually, found freedom. I found it through the same means I use today to help others. I have been in the place many people start. I know how it feels and what it is like. This personal experience gives me a unique ability to work with those who also struggle in this area. I want to help people find for themselves the same healing shown to me.
