In therapy, I provide a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I am compassionately direct and will sit with you in the tough emotions, as well as celebrate the steps you take toward your goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’ve had many positive (and not so positive) experiences that contribute to the person and therapist I am today. What I’ve learned is that we all need to be heard, connected with, and validated. We need to find a place where we feel a sense of "Maitri", which is what Buddhists refer to as “making friends with ourselves”, particularly in times of stress, worry, conflict and transition. It’s when we feel most ungrounded that we have the most opportunity to grow, gain insight, and make the changes toward the life we want to be living.
