About My Clients
Are you anxious, stressed, finding it difficult to cope with changes in your life? Are you ready to process and heal from past events and experiences? Have you experienced an illness or death of a loved one and are struggling with grief? I can help you navigate these stressors and find relief. As well as help you navigate your emotions and develop the resources to handle the ups and downs of life as well as assisting in processing and healing from past trauma.
My Background and Approach
I work with individual adults and teenagers to navigate life stressors and heal from past traumas. I believe that the therapist client connection is the most important tool in treatment. Therefore I provide a nonjudgmental space and utilize humor and authenticity to allow you to be yourself and be comfortable enough to access your feelings and achieve your goals. I use a variety of modalities in order to create a plan that fits your needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy doesn't ‘fix’ you because you are not broken. Instead I want to help you navigate your emotions and develop the resources to handle the ups and downs of life. As I social worker I strive to uphold the code of ethics to enhance human well-being and help meet the basic human needs of all people, with particular attention to the needs and empowerment of people who are vulnerable, oppressed, and living in poverty. I believe that everyone deserves the chance to be fully heard and understood and given the opportunity to make the changes they would like to see in their lives.
