About My Clients
I help misunderstood and mistreated womxn, queer individuals and adult children of immigrants, who are on their self-discovery journey, to develop a solidified sense of self and feel more confident. There is no shame in speaking your truth. I’m here to hold space for your feelings and needs, help you shift your perspective, and integrate all parts of yourself, especially the parts you’ve shunned away. I’m excited to support you on your self-discovery journey.
My Background and Approach
I believe vulnerability and sensitivity are strengths and the key to living the life you desire. Your strengths are worthy of being nourished. Therapy can provide that safe space to put things into practice when it’s too scary to do it out in the world. It can help you reconnect with yourself, cultivate your inner wisdom, and gain perspective of your relationships, especially the one with yourself. When we get started, I'll help you set realistic therapy goals and our sessions together will have a structure.
My Values as a Therapist
I founded Stillness Therapy®, guided by my core values of acceptance, curiosity, duality, fluidity, openness, social justice, transparency, and the concept of stillness as a healing practice. Stillness Therapy® operates on the belief that self-awareness, though painful and uncomfortable, is profoundly transformative. While part of my approach is evidence based, I view therapy more as an art—a spiritual and poetic quest. My approach to therapy is straight forward, rooted in a strengths model rather than a deficit model. This means I do not see people as broken and I believe everyone has what they need to heal. My role is to help you access your inner strengths.
