About My Clients

I help people deal with the effects of trauma, whether it’s from difficult life experiences, military-related stress, or other hardships. I also work with those facing anxiety, depression, or difficulties in personal relationships. Do you feel constantly on edge, overwhelmed, or stuck in a cycle of sleepless nights and emotional ups and downs? Maybe your thoughts race, your feelings feel too heavy, or you’re just worn out from carrying it all alone. I’m here to help you feel more in control.

My Background and Approach

I have a master’s degree in psychology and am working toward full licensure under the guidance of experienced professionals, with supervision from Siobhon Leuschner, LMHC, ensuring top-quality care. I am certified in trauma treatment, Gottman Method Couples Counseling, and have specialized training in military culture, enabling me to address a wide range of client needs. I’ve worked in community mental health agencies, conducting emergency and crisis evaluations, quickly assessing individuals' safety and mental health. I’ve also worked in residential treatment facilities for adolescents facing severe childhood trauma, anxiety, and depression. My early experience involved helping children with anxiety disorders like generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and phobias. These experiences have shaped me into the therapist I am today. With my training and ongoing supervision, I can help you manage stress and anxiety, improve relationships, and regain control of your life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in the strength and potential of every individual. While life can present challenges—whether it’s trauma, stress, anxiety, or difficult relationships—I’m convinced that we all have the power to take control of our mental health and change our path. Many of our struggles come from circumstances beyond our control, but that doesn’t mean we’re powerless. With the right support and tools, we can create meaningful change in our lives. I value resilience, hard work, and growth, and I’m passionate about helping people reclaim their well-being. As a first-generation Latina, I understand the value of perseverance and overcoming adversity. My father also served proudly in the U.S. Army, and his dedication to service instilled in me a deep respect for military families. I recognize the unique challenges military-connected individuals face and am dedicated to providing specialized support to service members and their families.
