About My Clients
My clients are seeking to make a positive change in their life. They are looking for support in a variety of tough Challenges stemming from feelings of anxiety, and depression, and those who struggle with impulse control issues. Together we can address these issues head-on and work towards growth and a positive change.
My Background and Approach
My background involves my work with children, adolescents, and adults (civilian and military) in inpatient psychiatric settings, as well as in medical environments such as Intensive Care Units, Emergency Departments, and Psychiatric Units within a medical hospital. Here I focused on working with individuals with a wide range of challenges that led them to receive mental health support within an inpatient setting. Here I focused on working through the client's mental health challenges such as Depression, Suicidality, Anxiety, Impulse control, OCD, Psychosis, and Substance use disorders. Concerning my preferred methodology, I frequently use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing techniques in my practice. I enjoy offering clients a safe space to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while also providing them with practical skills and strategies for use in their daily lives and the community.
