About My Clients
Have you been to therapy before? Are you considering a deeper dive towards wholeness with Ketamine Assisted Therapy? Do you wish to integrate the changes and insights already gained? You may also want to understand your patterns which interfere with truly enjoying life. Perhaps you want to gain access to the wisdom that is buried underneath the symptoms of depression, anxiety, traumatic stress? I look forward to partnering with you to regain your power and hope.
My Background and Approach
My training and expertise is in understanding traumatic stress and the impact on the nervous system, along with providing in-office Ketamine Assisted Therapy for a deepening journey of the self. Together we will explore the blocks that get in the way of you feeling whole. I strongly believe in the power of resiliency and using this as a guide in our work together. We will work collaboratively and go at a pace that feels manageable to you. You will learn effective coping strategies to respond to your nervous system's needs. I have worked in the mental health field for 29 years helping people to take back their life story and feel more empowered. And that over-thinking mind...yep, we will help it. And your overactive/underactive nervous system...there are effective tools to help you move towards balance. I hold deep passion for the journey of the mind, body, spirit. I hold hope for everyone I work alongside, that they too can feel the aliveness right here, right now.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Social Worker, I believe in the demand for gender equality, social, and racial justice as a framework for who I am as a person and a professional. I have worked for many years with people in marginalized communities. I participate in women's rights matters and marches to help advocate for ongoing progress across human rights issues. I fiercely believe in women and men examining their feminine/masculine traits and roles with more balance and compassionate inquiry. Anybody can change at anytime. We are given the opportunity for growth everyday. No time limit. Those unhealthy patterns can be a catalyst for real, lasting change. We learn these habits as a response to stress, whether that was with childhood trauma or some type of current adaptation. And, the best part is we can unlearn these patterns. Change can be incredibly hard. No doubt. And it is the ultimate reward when you discover your truest nature buried underneath all those defenses. You are not alone.
