I am interested in working with adults or couples experiencing generalized anxiety, social anxiety, depression, multiracial identity, life transitions, self-esteem, sleep difficulties, and learning to create balance in one's life.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is shaped by person-centered, humanistic, and internal family systems therapy. I believe it is important to follow your lead, as the client, to find what process works best for you. Therapy is your space and time to gain the support you need, no matter what that may be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Starting therapy can be daunting, but I am here to make it feel less intimidating. I seek to find what sets everyone apart, helping you discover and develop the tools you already have. We are all human. With that comes imperfections, differences, and experiences that impact who we are. Therapy is a non-judgmental space to remind the inner critic that it doesn't belong. Humanity is strength. I value showing up authentically and genuinely. I am human too, imperfections and all. I seek to remind you that you aren't alone. I enjoy supporting others and highlighting their strengths, showing that our quirks and differences make us special, not "bad" or "strange." I am passionate about working with clients through identity exploration and in creating comfort with identity when it doesn't seem to fit in boxes. I believe it is vital to hold space for acceptance and compassion with fluidity of identity. Not everyone has a label that fits who they feel they are. You are you and that's enough.
