About My Clients
Survivor of trauma. Struggling with addiction. Creative. Do at least two of these three describe you? If you're struggling to get sober, you're fearful about the impact sobriety might have on your creativity (and life in general). If you're in early sobriety, you're trying to gain your footing in a new landscape. If you're a trauma survivor, you're confused as to why your insight & sensitivity aren't helping you get to that light at the end of the tunnel.
My Background
I received my BA in Psychology from UC San Diego, and my MA and PsyD from Pepperdine University. I am trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential/Humanistic therapy, and Client Centered/Rogerian therapy. I am a Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy provider through Journey Clinical.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am very invested in social justice causes in both belief & action - Black Lives Matter, anti-racism work, feminism, LGBTQIA+ rights, & disability rights. I practice from a Health At Every Size, anti-diet culture, fat acceptance & liberation framework. I don't pathologize ethical non-monogamy. Sex work is work.
