About My Clients
I help clients reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, substance use, and trauma. Interpersonal issues like reactivity and poor boundaries also something I've helped clients with. I work with ADHD and OCD as well. I most love working with clients who have been in conventional talk therapy for years, don't feel like they've gotten anywhere, and want a fresh perspective.
What I Specialize In
The therapeutic approach I have had the greatest success with and use most frequently is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which I have found helpful in reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD in as little as three sessions. I also frequently use Cognitive Processing Therapy which is a trauma-focused derivation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as some other modalities. My approach is somatic/holistic, and I very intentionally try to steer clear of conventional talk therapy that takes what I feel is an over-intellectualized approach to personal change. I prioritize helping clients change how they feel, not just how they think. Also, I have a corporate finance background and find I bring particular value to professional clients with some combination of career stress/burnout/ambivalence and relationship difficulties/reactivity/isolation.

I have found clinical success with a wide variety of clients, and I am a proud advocate for all clients regardless of race, gender identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, citizenship status, body size, disability, or age.
