About My Clients
Currently, I offer accessible therapy remotely for a wide variety of clients. I have prior experience working in-person and remotely, including on campus with college-aged adults, with parents and children, as well as organizationally being onsite in downtown Detroit. I primarily work with teens and adults specializing in anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, careers, life transitions, and behavioral concerns.
My Background and Approach
As a psychotherapist, I know that efficient therapy only works in a warm and safe environment in order to help you get back on track or to find new balance in life. We all have strengths and weaknesses, with the hope of therapy being that you will be able to find deeper insight to recraft yourself into the person you want. I believe that we can work together in order to overcome most issues that you might be experiencing and make sufficient progress towards your own goals in treatment, while maintaining a focus on personal growth. In terms of licensing, I'm a Limited License Psychologist in good standing (License number: 6361007577). I graduated with a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University, while completing my practicum with University of Michigan-Dearborn Counseling and Psychological Services and have obtained additional experiences working with a wide range of clients within multiple private practice settings.
Why I Became a Therapist
The reason I've became a therapist was driven by the need to help others. Everybody can go through different highs and lows within life, which is why I'd like to help as many people as possible work towards the better days. I'm open-minded and non-judgmental as a therapist, while offering the support needed to thrive in a warm and safe environment.
