About My Clients
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, relationship issues, career development, and life transitions. I give you permission to redirect your focus inward and get curious about who you are, what moves you, and what feels right for you. Your journey can shift as you go, and sometimes it can be difficult to grant yourself the space, flexibility, and caring attention you need to connect with your honest needs, values, hopes, and motivations.
My Background and Approach
I take a trauma-informed, body-centered approach, integrating insight, mindfulness, self-resourcing, and sensation awareness. This mind-body connection grounds us in the present moment for a more enriching therapeutic relationship. I integrate diverse therapeutic approaches and modalities, including Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), movement-based work, and interventions derived from research in Neurobiology, to provide tangible coping mechanisms, effective emotion regulation resources, and a deeper understanding of self. By intertwining embodied techniques with collaborative conversations, I guide you toward healing and self-discovery. My holistic approach nurtures acceptance and self-understanding so that we can explore your repeated patterns and develop more helpful narratives. I prioritize trust, safety, openness, and self-expression. Consider me your advocate in this journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that our experiences inform who we are in the most surprising ways, and I continue to be amazed by the creativity and resourcefulness of living things. I see value in taking pause, zooming out, and granting our past, present, and future selves forgiveness, understanding, and empathy. I recognize the eclectic nature of the human experience and enjoy helping people identify their unique competencies and points-of-view. I am passionate about dance and movement. Viewing human behavior through an embodied lens has highlighted the notable sociocultural and interpersonal impacts of art, creativity, and movement on communities and individuals.
