You feel easily overwhelmed and anxious often. Your heart pounds, you start sweating, t and you find it hard to breathe. Your mind races at night, and its hard to get to sleep. Its hard to let some things go and just relax. You struggle with perfectionism and wanting to people please. You avoid certain situations and this limits you in your life. Holistic strategies can help you find some relief and peace in your life. I look forward to teaching you tools to take your life back.
My Background and Approach
I believe in working collaboratively with clients to individualize tools to help them better manage their anxiety. My focus is on treating the whole person body, mind & spirit. I utilize holistic tools that I have learned from numerous trainings and through personal experience. I teach hands on strategies that are simple to implement but provide the best result. I teach breath work, mindfulness, meditation and trauma informed yoga. Through my experience, these strategies have been most effective in helping the clients I have worked with to reduce anxiety to a manageable level and to help them reclaim their life. My goal is to help you find the right tools that work for you to help better manage anxiety and be able to approach each day with ease.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Growing up I struggled to open up to others about my concerns and never had someone who I felt comfortable with to talk too. I have learned the importance for everyone to have a trusted person in their life they can talk to who truly listens and validates their feelings. This can be a release valve for difficult emotions and help build a therapeutic relationship. I believe in offering a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can be their authentic selves and share their concerns comfortably. I have learned how to better deal with my anxiety through my own therapy and lifestyle changes. My hope for you is that you can find the skills to better manage it and help yourself find the relief you deserve. My style is a mix of honesty, genuineness and compassion. I also am transparent and will use gentle confrontation when needed. Through a holistic perspective, I can help you discover simple lifestyle changes that can make a huge difference in how you feel each and every day.
