About My Clients
I believe it is important to be aware of the varying identities that make up an individual and how it shapes their experiences. I welcome and celebrate my clients of all identities. I enjoy working with people who want to work on anxiety, depression, chronic illnesses, caregivers of aging adults, and people grieving losses.
My Background and Approach
I believe each individual is the commander of their own ship. I am here as a collaborative guide on that journey. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and graduated with my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California in 2011. I have over a decade of experience in community health, community mental health, and hospice. Some modalities I may use in your therapeutic sessions include attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, family-of-origin therapy, trauma-informed lens, and solution focused therapy. Each person is uniquely individual and I will use approaches that are best suited for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value humanity and what makes us each unique. I like to live my life as true to myself as I can be. Authenticity is important to me in both my personal and professional life. When I am not working with clients, I really enjoy being in nature and going on hikes or being in water. I am a foodie. I believe love is love, Black Lives Matter, and Stop Asian Hate.
