About My Clients
Are you seeking connection, clarity, healing, growth, or just something different? I recognize dysfunctional patterns can be hard to break, and change can be not only hard, but also scary. I work with clients to uncover what beliefs, behaviors and patterns are getting in the way of their healing, healthy relationships, and growth. My goal is to work alongside and be with my clients with openness, curiosity, and compassion for each individual’s history, cultural practices, values, and goals.
My Background and Approach
I have educational background in philosophy and psychology and training in couple and family therapy. As a licensed marriage and family therapist associate, I use a whole-person, collaborative, intersectional, and strengths based approach to working with clients. I always use a systemic lens considering one's family of origin, relationships, community, and cultures. My approach is always personalized to the needs of the client.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My experience growing up and navigating predominantly White spaces holding the identities that I do motivates me to help my clients examine and unpack internalized oppression and explore the various intersections of their identities. Outside of being a therapist, I’m also a West-coast transplant-turned-Washington-local, surprisingly Texan, sourdough enthusiast, dog owner, amateur gardener, daughter of an immigrant, and most importantly, human just like you.
