About My Clients
You might be an excellent fit for my practice if you are currently navigating one of adulthood's many transitions, are experiencing chronic or acute anxiety or panic, or are affected by relationship issues, including family concerns. In my practice, you will learn to practice healthy relationship patterns, identify your needs, and build a life you love that is not controlled by fear or anxiety.
My Background and Approach
I earned my doctorate from a top-tier, APA-accredited PhD program where I specialized in anxiety treatment, developmental issues, and family care. I offer evidence-based practices including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure with response prevention (E/RP), and interpersonal therapy (IPT), both in individual and group settings. I consider my approach to be warm, constructive, and comfortable.
Why I Became a Therapist
I became a clinical psychologist because I was astounded by both the stigma and difficulty of accessing mental health services. While the stigma is beginning to improve, we know that most individuals in need of behavioral healthcare do not receive it. By offering both group and individual therapy, as well as short- and long-term treatment options, I believe my service can reach more individuals when they need additional support.
