My Background and Approach

Danica holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. She is a multiculturally-sensitive Licensed Associate Counselor who has worked in non-profit, faith-based, and acute medical settings, specializing in high-risk antepartum women, perinatal grief and loss, postpartum mood disorders (PMADs), substance abuse, adoptions, end of life, and female cancers. She has completed additional coursework as a Clinical Trauma Professional from the International Trauma Training Institute (ITTI), and advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy training from Postpartum Support International (PSI).
