Cis-Hetero-Patriarchy and White Supremacy has filled us all up with harmful, restrictive, and value ridden attitudes towards bodies. No wonder we have complicated relationships with food, eating, and bodies. The dominant systems in place uphold diet culture and anti-fat bias in order to maintain power and control. By recognizing the origins of harmful practices in your life, you may begin the practice of unlearning and replacing these limiting and painful beliefs.

Families are doing their best....but so often, their best is still pretty damn harmful. I am trained to help you get to the root of your attachment injuries and heal them for good. Once you start to re-wire your internal attachment system and relearn your own inherent worth and value, you will see major changes in the way you relate to yourself and to the people in your life.

Maybe you're in the process of wanting to come out, maybe you've been out for as long as you can remember, or maybe you're somewhere in between. I can support you in unpacking and healing the internalized homo/bi/pan/trans/queerphobia that we all experience in this heteronormative society of ours. Learn to love your damn self.

Together we can look at the stories and myths you learned to believe about yourself and the world and unlearn, unpack, and rewrite them! You get to be in charge of how you think and feel about yourself and the world around you.

I believe strongly that our culture(s) play a huge role in our happiness as well as our dysfunction. I take social, cultural, family, and systems level factors into account when working with clients and believe that healing our relationships to our cultures is a major part of overall mental health.

Let's be honest, systems of oppression are to blame here. I love supporting my clients in healing from systemic racism, sexism, fat-phobia, ableism, and queerphobia. You may not have control over these systems, but you do have control over how you show up for yourself in this sometimes fucked up world.
