About My Clients
I enjoy working with adults who are seeking support in finding balance - be it in their identity, relationships, or other realms of life. Often, major transitions, depression, anxiety, and grief make this balance particularly difficult to achieve. As a career changer and mom of two, I relate well to the struggle of repeatedly rediscovering and redefining one’s identity. I am also skilled in helping folks struggling with acculturative stress, sense of belonging, and/or intergenerational conflict.
My Background and Approach
My clinical approach is very values-based and relationship focused. By focusing on intrapersonal factors that impact mental well-being, we will build on your strengths as we do the vulnerable work of better understanding your needs and values. This holistic approach will be wholly authentic and unique to you, to help you find your way back to leading a meaningful and fulfilling life. My approach is collaborative and dynamic. Have any functional cognitive problems that concern you, such as memory, attention, or learning difficulties? I a trained neuropsychologist who considers all factors when assessing the root cause of your cognitive concerns. For example, through neuropsychological testing, I can help discern whether your concentration problems are due to depression or ADHD. Knowing the root cause of your problems can help you get the right kind of treatment, quickly.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Adjusting to major life transitions, caregiving responsibilities, or experiencing conflicts with cherished others can be difficult but does not have to cause long-term suffering. Together, we can sort through what is troubling you and making your heart heavy.
