My Background and Approach
Therapy is a unique relationship between a therapist (i.e., a mental health professional) – and a client where you can expect to be listened to, understood, supported, and challenged by me. By exploring your life history and lived experience, greater self-understanding and insight can develop which can lead to changes in behaviors, thoughts, and feelings and positive improvements in life. This awareness in tandem with new approaches (tools, skills sets, behaviors) applied in your life – something we will work on – often lead to progress in therapy. My aim is to assist you on your journey of healing and growth by sourcing and blending psychological theory, my training, and my life experience. I started my education at Seattle Central College on Capitol Hill, Seattle and transferred to Washington State University in Pullman, WA, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2018. I graduated from Seattle University (2019-2021) with a Master of Arts in Psychology.
