About My Clients
The work I find most meaningful is helping people explore the narratives that hold you back from living the life you want to create. Sometimes these narratives are experiences from childhood, past hurts from relationships, or traumatic experiences that need processing and healing. The most important relationship is the relationship you have with yourself.
My Background and Approach
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the tech industry as a UX writer and designer. While I loved my role and the challenges of UX, I found myself gravitating towards connecting humans with other humans, and helped teams navigate challenges on an interpersonal level. I believe my past experience helps me in working with clients in both understanding and empathizing with the exciting yet challenging culture of corporate life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a queer, white woman, and my work as a clinician is to be LGBTQIA+, health at every size (HAES), fat positive, size neutral, kink, BDSM, polyamorous/ENM, and sex work affirming. I approach my work with Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) with humility, collaboration, and a commitment to personal accountability. As humans, I believe we are meant to live in community, and the relationships in our lives cultivate meaning, healing, and growth. As a spiritual person, I find connection to the sacred through nature, art, dance, and loved ones.
