I can help you sift through the noise and regain your confidence in yourself.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in treating OCD and other anxiety spectrum disorders (Social Anxiety Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Health Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Specific Phobias). I offer both evidence based treatments for OCD: I-CBT (Inference Based Therapy) and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention). I also incorporate ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) . The truth is, you are not alone and it is not that you are broken, but that the tools your mind uses again and again to solve this unsolvable anxiety puzzle are just simply not sufficient. Everyday I help others to break free from the grip of anxiety and OCD and reengage in the things that matter most to them in their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Your story and experience are a privilege and at the foundation of our work is the building of trust and respect. Together, we can increase empowerment and self-compassion. I strive to be anti-racist and LGBTQ+ affirming in my approach as a therapist. I work with clients to identify and validate one’s identities and systemic intersections to facilitate empowerment. I utilize treatments that are based in research and scientific evidence, while also taking an integrative approach that acknowledges wellness as multi-dimensional in seeing the person within their environment.
