Life doesn’t have to stay this way. Hi, I’m Dr. Rey Junco, and I can help.I provide trauma therapy using EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
My Background and Approach
I help high achieving people just like you: ones that have it within them to move past their trauma and thrive again, but just need the support to get there. I help my clients find joy and regain their confidence by equipping them with the tools they need to work through old patterns that no longer serve them. Many of today’s solutions for healing from trauma are drawn out, leading so many to feel like they are not making real progress. I know that you’d like to feel better as soon as possible, so every step we take is tailored with that end goal in mind. I am trained in a number of evidence-based techniques like EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, which allow for deeper healing than traditional talk therapy. I’ve been an academic most of my life, having held tenure at two institutions, a fellowship appointment for almost a decade at Harvard University, and a visiting faculty appointment at Oxford University.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My training in multiple evidence-based treatments means I have the expertise you need and deserve when healing from trauma. But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be a high achieving person struggling with the effects of trauma, right? I get it because I’m a survivor of childhood trauma. I know the frustration that comes with trying different things but not getting better. So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
