My Background and Approach
Together, we will address the complex effects of trauma and explore your traumatic experiences, helping you process and release the emotional pain you carry. To calm an overactive nervous system, we will explore and practice the most effective techniques for you, such as mindfulness, grounding exercises, and somatic awareness, to bring the body back into balance. I will help you identify and challenge false beliefs that stem from trauma, replacing them with more empowering beliefs that are grounded in your wholeness. We will work on rebuilding your ability to connect with others, fostering healthy relationships by exploring attachment patterns, and practicing new ways of relating and feeling safe. I will support you in a safe space throughout this journey, guiding you toward healing and growth. We can not change the past or control the external world, but we can look for new meaning in our lives and seek answers from within ourselves.
