About My Clients
I often see driven professionals in high-pressure environments. Many of my clients are men, trying therapy for the first time or continuing work they've already started. Clients generally come to see me to work through stress, anxiety (especially social anxiety), depression, life transitions and trauma. I'm also trained and passionate about working with the broader LGBTQ+ population.
My Background and Approach
I work from what's known as a strengths-based, existential and solution-focused perspective. We talk one human to another about what it is like to live in this ever-changing world. In those conversations, you rediscover your strengths, which are the tools you use to reach your goals. I also believe that new results come from new choices and actions, so we identify different experiments to try in between sessions to see what works best for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work is guided by my personal values: Authenticity—only by being our truest selves can we discover who we are and what we want. Purpose—it drives us to step outside our comfort zones and experience more of life. Safety—we need the right environment to be vulnerable with ourselves and others. Logic—I'm a big fan of figuring out what makes sense and doing more of it. Vitality—life is for living! My mission as a therapist: Serve people who feel lost, stagnant, unsure, disconnected. Teach people to identify and leverage their strengths to face challenges. Inspire people to take action, build momentum and manifest change. Therapy is a place of possibility—a chance to achieve something new. Strive for meaningful change with someone committed to helping you. Maybe therapy is for you; maybe it’s not. But don’t wonder—find out!
