My Background and Approach
I specialize in helping adults, teens, and kids 10+ navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, life stressors, and trauma. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), two highly effective, evidence-based approaches for processing trauma and alleviating emotional distress. These techniques allow us to address painful memories and experiences in a way that feels safe and empowering, so you can move forward without being weighed down by the past. When we work together, I’ll provide you with practical tools to manage overwhelming emotions, break free from patterns that no longer serve you, and find relief from triggers. You’ll gain strategies that you can carry with you, helping you feel more empowered and grounded in your daily life. My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I believe that everyone can find healing and growth in life. As a Christian, my values inspire me to approach every client with compassion, understanding, and respect. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life, creating a supportive environment where you can feel safe to share your story. I am deeply passionate about supporting the postpartum and pregnant community, as well as those navigating infertility. I understand the unique challenges these experiences can bring and am committed to walking alongside you during these vulnerable times. I also feel called to serve veterans, first responders, and those who have experienced significant loss. Grief and trauma can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate them alone. Whether you’re overcoming trauma, managing anxiety, or seeking support through life’s challenges, I’m honored to be part of your journey toward healing and hope.
