My degree is specialized in body psychotherapy and I work holistically with the mind-body-spirit connection from a trauma informed lens, using the felt sense of the body as a guide into deeper emotional recognition and processing.

I specialize in trauma, including sexual trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, domestic violence trauma, intergenerational trauma, and childhood trauma in adults. I work over time to build safety un the therapeutic relationship, and help you build safety in yourself, learning to trust yourself again. I do this from a somatic lens, where the nervous system and the body are key to the process of healing trauma.

I enjoy using Jungian and transpersonal lenses to add a spiritual dimension to therapy, and I love to incorporate tarot, astrology, art, poetry, dreams, and symbolism when it feels supportive to your process. I work with all types of spirituality based on your existing beliefs as I believe that integrating spirit into the mind-body connection can add another dimension to healing work, including ancestral and intergenerational healing.

This involves building trust in the self again first, and learning to reshape nervous system responses to threat, honor the body's wisdom and needs, and move with the anger, shame, guilt, or deep sadness that may arise in response to sexual trauma.

Chronic pain and illness are tough to navigate as while our medical system does a decent job at preventing death, it often fails at relieving pain and chronic illness symptoms through traditional means. I work with autoimmune disorders, fibromyalgia, and other illnesses from a somatic lens, where we acknowledge the interconnected role of the body, the mind, and trauma (including medical trauma), then find ways to navigate systems and move forward with life--revitalizing meaning and purpose.

Finding your center after experiencing domestic abuse, whether emotional, physical, sexual, or financial can be a trying journey. It is my goal to help you rediscover who you are, what your needs are, and what you want in life.

I use a transpersonal lens and work with Jungian archetypes including dreams, tarot, goddess work, and astrology. Spiritual healing is part of holistic wellness that is too often separated from traditional psychotherapy.
