About My Clients
One of my strengths is working with teens and adults who have a hard time trusting and connecting. This allows me the opportunity to be impactful and help you achieve your goals. I hope that after our first session, you feel some relief in knowing that you are not alone and there are better days ahead.
My Background and Approach
Therapists are not a one size fits all and finding the right fit for you, your family, and/or your child is so important for therapy to be successful. My approach with clients is always collaborative, genuine and warm, and I use both empathy and humor. I am client-centered, strengths based, and solutions focused. I utilize multiple therapeutic modalities to correspond with the needs of each individual client, meeting them where they are at. One of my strengths is working with individuals who have a hard time trusting, connecting, and feeling safe. This allows me the opportunity to be impactful and help you achieve your goals. I hope that after our first session, you feel some relief in knowing that you are not alone and there are better days ahead. I also offer parent consultations and understand, this is by far, the hardest job!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
A favorite quote: "Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again, but life goes on" - Fred Jung. It's so important during those lows and in crisis, to keep perspective. It's a moment in time, the crisis will pass, and the future can be anything you want. It's about finding the right path to get you where you want to be. It's not where you start, or where you are, but rather where you are going and how you will get there. When I’m not meeting with clients, you can find me doing something (anything) outdoors, or playing Uber driver to my two children. I also have two dogs because one dog didn’t bring enough chaos to my home!
