About My Clients
Do you struggle with anxiety that affects your day-to-day life? Do you feel overwhelmed by your relationship and worry that you’ll make the wrong decision? Have you had life changes that have been difficult to accept? Do you question if your anxiety will always impact your life? You’re not alone. While it can feel isolating, you’re not the only one experiencing anxiety and uncertainty. And, things can get better. I typically work with clients dealing with anxiety, grief, and life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I believe that anxiety doesn’t have to control your life or change your dreams. In therapy, I like to help clients learn healthy coping skills to decrease panic attacks and the impact of anxiety. I use mindfulness techniques, CBT skills, EMDR, and narrative therapy to help my clients begin to understand why they struggle with anxiety. By doing therapy with me, you’ll be able to learn healthy coping skills to manage and explore anxiety, life changes, and relationship issues. You’ll have a space to process your experiences and work towards a better version of you. In 2022, I graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I received my license to work as an Associate Professional Counselor in 2022. Since 2021, I have gained experienced providing individual and group therapy in an Intensive Outpatient Program and Partial Hospitalization Program. Furthermore, I have experience working with individual clients in private practice. I am also EMDR trained.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
For every session, I seek to create a warm and inviting space where clients feel at ease to discuss and explore change. It’s important for me to provide a safe place for cultural diversity and differences in gender and sexual orientation. When it comes to therapy, I aim to create a space where clients feel safe and the freedom to be vulnerable. I will always advocate for my clients and provide support. I believe that therapy is about the client and keep each session focus on him/her/them.
