About My Clients
As a therapist, my practice focuses on helping individuals and families struggling with trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. I am passionate about supporting adolescents, young adults, and women through life transitions. I also work with parents of children with disabilities, supporting them as they navigate special education and advocacy. Additionally, I offer care for immigrant, refugee, and bicultural individuals and families who are facing cultural and systemic challenges.
My Background and Approach
If you’re struggling with life challenges, it can feel isolating, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. As your therapist, I will provide compassionate support to help you manage stress, build stronger connections, and find inner peace. My mission is to support each client on their own path toward healing and self-discovery, with the hope that their unique identities are honored and reflected, creating a sense of true belonging in every aspect of their lives. While I co-create a tailored, client-directed therapy experience with each and every unique client, therapy approaches I specialize in and offer to clients include: Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting, Feedback Informed Treatment. For nearly two decades as a therapist, I have specialized in: Trauma, Grief, Relationships, Life Transitions, Women's Issues, Immigration/Acculturation, Marginalized Communities, LGBTQIA+, Parenting and Advocacy in Special Education, Mental Health and Schools, Abuse Survivors.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a marriage and family therapist, my practice is grounded in equity and social justice, providing affirming care to individuals, couples, and families of diverse identities and backgrounds. I am committed to engaging with government, community, schools, and therapeutic avenues with the hope that everyone, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, ability, socio-economic status, or identity, will receive the compassionate, inclusive mental health support they deserve.
