I use motivational interviewing, skills based teachings, and a strength based approach to help people find their path to making and sustaining change in their life. I’m a licensed clinical social worker and certified addiction counselor with 11 years of experience. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a passionate person that loves spending time in the mountains and on the water. I value my connections with friends and family, and believe that love and passion are key components to living a meaningful and fulfilling life. I've had my own struggles with addiction and found the importance of having a therapist I felt understood and supported me in my journey to recovery can make. Through my own journey in therapy I've recognized the best therapeutic relationships are built on mutual respect and connection. The best way to start on a path of change is to start with an introduction with a therapist. I take a no pressure approach when providing a free consultation and want to provide a space to see if I can be the right fit for you and your needs. We are all capable of change. No matter how long we have struggled with unhealthy behaviors and habits, change is still possible.
