My Background and Approach
I love being a therapist and believe it's an honor to help people feel like their life is good again. As a queer cisgender woman, I believe I possess significant understanding for people who feel they don’t quite fit in the box, including those who have felt harmed by restrictive expectations or hurtful judgements. Whether their differences have to do with sexuality, neurodiversity, or life experiences others might not understand, therapy should be a safe place for everyone to discuss the real circumstances of their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It can feel intimidating to go to therapy, or to choose a new therapist - I get it! I want to make this process as comfortable and un-intimidating as I can. I tailor my approach to you and what you need. My clients describe me as grounded, un-intimidating, reassuring, and deep but practical. I use a blend of inner parts work, attachment theory, and other therapy approaches depending on what my clients need and respond best to.
