About My Clients
My clients are Individuals, couples, children and young adults seeking reconnection to their higher Self. Trauma creates “othering” experiences, with symptoms of anxiety, depression, or loss of meaning. Our youth feel angry or scared in a world flooded by information without having a filter for “what is me,” and “what is not me.” Together, we can immerse ourselves in dreamwork, sensations in the body, imagery coming forth, reconnecting to Soul and inner creativity to find our authentic nature.
My Background and Approach
Becoming a licensed therapist is just a beginning… As a seeker of authentic healing experiences for marginalized populations: LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, people healing from narcissistic abuse, and anyone who has been exploited or oppressed, I train with world experts at the C.G. Jung Institute, Zurich Switzerland. You may feel symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and dissociation that are clues to guide your healing process! Participation in the psychoanalyst training program keeps me abreast of how neuroscience guides us to heal the brain injured by childhood neglect or abuse, and how to work with multicultural intergenerational patterns repeating in your life. We can pursue integration of dissociative inner figures like your harsh inner critic. We work together in deciphering dreams, negative thought patterns, movement or sensations in the body, and symbols arising in creative processes. Depth Therapy combines Relational Therapy and Attachment Therapy to re-align Soul to your life’s calling.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Childhood is a gateway to exploration and wonder. It is also the beginning of some life patterns that we all would like to outgrow. Our Shadow material is anything that we do not like about ourselves, kept repressed in our unconscious. If we do not have a caregiver in childhood who can hold our emotions with us, who perhaps through no fault of their own, cannot process the big feelings, we did not learn how to manage negative experiences. Instead, unprocessed immature emotions are stored in the body, to resurface later in life as “triggers,” disconnected from the original cause. As adults, the triggers cause anxiety, depression, or symptoms of PTSD and dissociation in cases of abuse or neglect. My awareness of the widespread nature of this problem in so very many people has committed me to sharing a deeply healing journey with my patients, so that they can live life in the now, discovering life’s mysteries and joys.
