About My Clients
I specialize in therapy for relationships, including your relationship with yourself. Some of my areas of focus include couples therapy, premarital counseling, therapy for men, and maternal mental health. My clients are ready to discover the version of themselves that feels most authentic and joyful – they're ready to make a change and start connecting with themselves and the people in their lives that they love most.
My Background and Approach
I have a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Methodist University. Additionally, I've completed trainings in Gottman Couples Counseling (Level 2 trained), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders from Postpartum Support International. My work is rooted in a combination of training and personal experience. I use a holistic approach to therapy, meaning I look at you as a whole person and tailor my approach to your individual needs. I consider therapy a partnership and wholeheartedly believe that you have an equal say in how we approach your goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My version of therapy is all about you. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all approaches or prescriptive ways of thinking. Instead, I look at each of my clients like the uniquely authentic person that they are. That means that our work together will cater to your individual goals and the life you’re dreaming of living. You are the leader of your own experience – I view myself as a trusted advisor here to guide you toward your goals and provide resources and knowledge along the way. A few things you can always expect from therapy with me are: A partnership where you get a say in your therapy experience A relationship built on mutual trust and connection A judgment-free space A focus on your unique story and needs Therapy that is fun, authentic, and acknowledges that we are all human A comfortable space to do the hard work (snacks, stretchy pants, and tears are all welcome here!)
