Life is hard. You make it look easy, but it’s not. Life is full of expected (and often times, unexpected) changes. Whether you’re just graduating, applying for new jobs, or having a baby, there are changes everywhere. I want you to be able to welcome change as it comes. Together, we can help you move through these uncomfortable moments, and help establish skills that may be helpful for the next inevitable change that comes. We can help you feel confident in the uncertainty.
My Background and Approach
I have a relaxed, person-centered approach. Human connection is fundamental in my approach. I use techniques from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). This might be different than the therapy that you’re used to. These techniques are welcoming and future oriented. Life is a journey, let’s walk through it together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I want our time together to be authentic. This is a space where you don’t have to have it all together! No, really, you really don’t have to have it together here. Change is necessary to get to the next stage of your journey, and the fact that you're even looking for a therapist means you're on the right path toward a better future. You’re used to having it all together, and I’m used to picking up the pieces that you don’t. Let’s do it together.
