About My Clients
My passion lies in helping people to confront and tackle the challenges which deeply impact their personal and relational lives and leave them feeling stuck. Whether you are struggling to cope with anxiety, grief, or depression, navigating conflict or resentment in your relationship, or facing concerns about your sexual health or identity, I strive to create a non-judgmental and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of rejection.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Sex Therapy from Antioch University Seattle and completed my practicum training under the guidance of PNW Sex Therapy Collective and Modern Therapy Seattle. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and diverse relationship structures (both heterosexual and LGBTQ+) to address issues of mental and emotional health, relationships, identity, and sexuality. I aim to empower my clients to take charge of their mental health, improve their relationships, and have better sex.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, my passion for human connection and psychology stems from my own journey of self-discovery and healing as a gay man raised in the heart of the South. Grappling with societal expectations and internalized stigma, I found refuge, relief, and resilience in therapy. I learned to embrace authenticity and vulnerability in a world which discourages such acts of defiance. My therapeutic philosophy is anchored in creating a non-judgmental and supportive environment where people can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of rejection. I aim to empower my clients to embrace their authentic selves and take charge of their mental, emotional, relational, and sexual well-being.
