Sex Therapist in Denver, CO

About My Clients

Relational and sex therapy allows you to explore the dimensions of your relationship tied to real intimacy, emotional safety, sexual connection, conflict resolution and effective communication. Let’s find new ways to bridge the gaps in your relationship(s) by letting go of old patterns and rebuilding a new dynamic between you. I specialize in areas of ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, and kink, as well as issues of mismatched libidos, performance anxiety, and sexual health.

My Background and Approach

I am an experienced relationship and sex therapist with over 15 years of working with people from diverse backgrounds, life circumstances, and dreams for the future. My practice has focused primarily on issues of mental health and well-being, relationship and sex therapy, and parenting. I'm a mother of four children, so I have practical experience raising children and supporting their development. My education, life experiences and career progression have culminated in my ability to align with you through your own personal journey. That journey toward healing and wholeness is different for every person, each with a truly unique life story and perspective. I work through a mindfulness, cross-cultural and attachment based lens as I'll encourage you to tap into your own wisdom and self-knowledge. Therapy can facilitate your decision to heal emotional pain and create a meaningful life through developing self-compassion and engaging in healthy relationships.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe we all live more vibrantly when we feel whole, inspired and connected to others. The reality is that we as humans often struggle with issues of anxiety, depression, isolation, and self-doubt. Since life by nature is a roller coaster of change and impermanence, it's so important to have an intentional relationship with ourselves that compassionately addresses those struggles and helps us feel more confident in facing those challenges. We are who we are in the context of our relationships. If you’re in an unhealthy relationship that lacks mutual trust and reciprocity, it will deeply impact the way you feel about yourself and others. The ability to effectively communicate or maintain intimacy with a partner is not something we just know how to do well, but they are skills we can learn and apply with great effect. Creating or rebuilding trust is also an essential skill that can help you heal a rupture in your connection and promote growth.
