My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is grounded in a client-centered philosophy, where your unique experiences and goals guide our work. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns, while Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) provides tools for emotional regulation and distress tolerance. Mindfulness practices are central to fostering present-moment awareness, reducing anxiety, and building self-compassion. I embrace a holistic approach, addressing the mind-body connection and the whole person’s well-being. With Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), we’ll explore how language and thought processes influence behaviors and beliefs. I also incorporate Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps deepen emotional processing and strengthen your ability to understand and work through feelings. Creativity plays a role in how we explore emotions and healing, ensuring a dynamic, tailored approach to your personal journey of growth and change.
