Lyndsey specializes in treating trauma, queer ,neurodivergent, & disabled clients inclu. those with Autism, ADHD, BPD/OCPD, PTSD/C-PTSD,& systemic oppression experiences. I can help in cases of identity issues, regulating emotions, accommodating/unmasking, trauma exposure/processing, life transitions, body/gender dysphoria, depression, anxiety, gender & sexuality exploration, chronic illness/disability, and ARFID. I operate out of IFS/Parts, Anti-colonialist, Social justice, ACT, somatic lenses.
My Background and Approach
Lyndsey specializes in trauma treatment, neurodivergent support; including lower support needs autism (but is willing to take higher support needs clients as is helpful and appropriate over telehealth); executive dysfunction issues and Queer/Trans identity issues. Lyndsey utilizes a mixture of person-centered, existential, narrative, ACT, Parts/IFS,trauma-based and informed, and mindfulness based theories and interventions. Lyndsey can offer screenings for autism (preliminary) and ADHD within the context of continued therapy. They can also write Emotional Support Animal and Gender Affirming Care Letters.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a trans/non-binary and neurodivergent clinician who believes that everyone deserves to make meaning out of their lives and experiences. I treat the individual at an individual level while also working from a systems or Liberation Psychology framework of educating and changing systems to effect change when possible.
